I just scored my second Azure voucher this month! I grabbed one last week from the Microsoft AI Skill Fest, and then after joining the Azure Data Days event last Friday, I just got another 100% off voucher today. I’m planning to use this one as a practice run since I’m still feeling a bit nervous about the DP-700, but I’m really determined to get that certification under my belt.

I had a midterm today for one of my MSc subjects. It was an MCQ exam, but with multiple correct answers per question and negative marking for wrong answers. I find that format really weird, especially when there are 3 or 4 possible right choices. I'm just not used to it at all.

So far, I’ve been using CodeCamp as my tutor for learning Data Engineering. But yesterday, I realized that it wasn't as effective as I thought. I was just trying to go through the videos and practice tests to complete the sessions, rather than actually learning and retaining the material. So, I came up with my own roadmap to self teach using Claude and Gemini. Let’s see how it goes.

Just updated my blog. I added a few very cool features, and I love the new theme of my blog even though I copied it from someone else. I can't get enough of looking at how clean and simple the blog is now. Love this. Hoping to engage more on my blog from now on. 🤞

I really want to write a few articles that I have planned, but it's really hard to allocate time for that. Lots of unfinished articles in my drafts. Hopefully I will finish at least a few of them in the coming weeks.

Got myself a free voucher for the SnowPro Associate exam a couple of days ago. Knew nothing about Snowflake going in, but it turns out the exam's pretty easy, so I ended up passing after just three days of studying! Honestly though, I only did it because of the free voucher. I don't think it would add much value to my resume. It really just gets the "Snowflake" keyword in there, which is always nice.

After 6 weeks of study, I just passed my AWS SAA exam today! I was incredibly nervous afterward because it felt like I was right on the fence, but I somehow made it over the line with a score of 819. Extremely Happy.

First day of the MSc! It’s been a while since I’ve had to sit through long lectures, but I'm excited to dive in. 😅 You will see more about this in my future articles.

I just passed my first AWS exam! I was thinking about doing this for a long time, and finally did it. I was hoping to score close to 850, but I couldn't quite get there.  Buuuuut I'm thrilled to officially have my first certification under my belt. Hopefully this will help keep the ball moving. I will write an article about how I prepared for the exam. Cheers.
